Threshold's two-year comprehensive transition program prepares young adults with neurologically based learning disabilities for the world of work and independent living. Students are a part of Lesley's on-campus community in Cambridge, MA. They gain career training in order to be successful in the workplace and in the real world. They learn how to budget, pay bills, use transportation, and be engaged members of their community. And best of all—they make friends for life.
THRESHOLD STUDENTS WILL:
Learn how to live an independent life
Explore a variety of employment interests, including, food service, office, retail, or early childhood education
Gain professional experience through internships
Reside on Lesley's campus and become part of our community
Augment their skills by continuing on to Threshold’s Transition or Bridge programs (optional)
